Description

The VIBROCONTROL 1800 (VC-1800) series offers a cost-effective solution for monitoring vibrations in most rotating machinery fitted with rolling or plain bearings. Depending on your application requirements, you can choose from three different monitoring devices to ensure optimum protection:

  • VIBROCONTROL 1850: Monitors frame vibration in machines fitted with rolling bearings (uses IEPE/CCS acceleration sensors).

  • VIBROCONTROL 1860: Monitors frame vibration in machines fitted with rolling bearings (uses speed sensors).

  • VIBROCONTROL 1870: Monitors the axial position and relative shaft vibration of machines fitted with plain bearings (uses displacement sensors).

In addition to providing reliable machine protection, the compact monitors in the VIBROCONTROL 18xx series also offer condition monitoring and diagnostic functions. The VC-18xx records and plots trends from scalar vibration and process data, as well as recording the original time-domain signals. Frequency spectra are available for post-processing via FFT analysis.

Thanks to their modular link concept, the devices are highly flexible and can be accessed remotely. Highly reliable machine safety is ensured by a ‘super relay’ compliant with the ISO/EN 13849-1 standard, which utilises two mechanical relays connected in series to achieve redundancy (backup).

  • Compact Analyzer software (for trend and vibration analysis): Enables the downloading of measurement data from VC-18xx units. Analyses total values, waveforms, process data, as well as spectra and cepstrums, helping to easily identify sources of vibration.
