The Audinos Elite Ex is the first ATEX-certified combination sound camera and thermal imaging camera that makes invisible problems visible. It has been specifically designed for two critical tasks: stopping compressed air leaks and locating partial discharges in electrical networks before they lead to catastrophic equipment failures. This device not only detects faults, but also analyses them for you.

Compressed air leaks: Don’t waste energy on compressed air leaks

Compressed air is one of the most expensive forms of energy in industry. Up to 30 per cent of the compressed air produced is often lost due to leaks. The 138 MEMS microphone technology filters out normal background production noise. You can locate leaks whilst production is in full swing without causing any disruption. The device not only identifies the leak, but also calculates the size of the compressed air leak and estimates the resulting financial loss in euros. This makes it easy to prioritise repair work. You can safely inspect pipework running through ceiling structures from floor level, even from a distance of tens of metres.

Partial discharges: Anticipate electrical faults before a flashover

Faults in the electrical network, such as partial discharges, are invisible and often odourless until it is too late. Identify the type of fault: AI-based analysis identifies and classifies discharge types (e.g. corona discharge, surface discharge or floating discharge). You know immediately whether it is a critical hazard or a normal phenomenon. Safe distance: Detect faults in voltage insulators, transformers and switchgear from a safe distance without direct contact. Combination of thermal and acoustic imaging: The device’s thermal camera reveals the thermal spike caused by the discharge, whilst the acoustic camera pinpoints the exact source of the discharge. This dual verification eliminates guesswork.

ATEX-certified: Safety without compromise

Many compressed air leaks and electrical faults occur in potentially explosive atmospheres (such as oil refineries or the chemical industry) The Audinos Elite Ex is the only tool on the market that offers acoustic and thermal imaging in a single package with full ATEX approval: Ex ib IIIC T80°C Db / Ex II 2 G Ex ib IIC T4 Gb. You can carry out inspections legally and safely in places where other devices must be left outside the gate.

What do you get with the Audinos Elite Ex acoustic camera?

Lower electricity bills: Plugging compressed air leaks often pays for the device within just a few months. Avoided downtime: Early detection of partial discharges prevents costly and unexpected production stoppages. Professional reporting: Generate automatic reports showing the location, type, temperature and acoustic data of the fault. Ease of use: A large 5″ touchscreen and an intuitive Finnish-language user interface make inspections quick and easy.
